DIY Thank You Card

My husband and are expecting twins boys and we couldn’t be more excited! Our amazing family, friends, and coworkers threw us two beautiful baby showers over the past couple of weeks and we were overwhelmed by the amount of love that we received.

Now that we’ve opened all the gifts, it’s time to send thank you cards to everyone.

Step 1:  In pencil, draw an outline of a heart.  Draw various images scattered throughout the heart.

Step 2:  Using a black pen, trace all the images.  Fill in small empty spaces with little hearts.

Step 3:  Let the black ink dry and then erase all the pencil markings.  Color in the images.step 3

Step 4:  Scan the drawing into the computer and insert into a publishing software.  Here I used MS Publisher and created 4 cards on a 8.5″ x 11″ size paper.

Step 5:  Insert desired text.

Step 6:  Duplicate onto the rest of the page.

Step 7:  Print the final product on card stock.  Using a paper trimmer, cut the 8.5″ x 11″ size paper into 4 equal sections.

Step 8:  Using a round paper punch, round the corners of the card.

Step 9:  Write your message on the back of the card and send to your loved one!
